A Very "Vegas" Halloween

I like to find good things in life to celebrate as often as possible ... Life is short, look for the celebration!!

My Love for Trader Joe's

I love Trader Joe's! So.......as I was heading home from Vegas I stopped in and picked up a few items.

Just walking up and down the isles of this super cool store gives me a great sense of pleasure. This place has the coolest stuff.........seriously! I could spend a small fortune here for sure. It's just about as much fun to watch all the interesting people who shop here.

These chips are my favorite and I popped two bags into my neat little shopping bag ASAP! The only other two items I bought are the Turkish Smyrna Figs that are super yummy and of course the Garlic rice noodle bowls that were 99 cents.

Of course........I had to open a bag on my way home! It's a three hour drive!

Please Trader Joe's..........come to Utah!

These are the most delicious figs in the world! A little pricey but worth the splurge!

Halloween Carnival Fun

This past weekend my daughter Ivy planned a Halloween Carnival to celebrate both Lukas and Layni's October birthdays. They each were allowed to invite 6 friends or cousins! Lukas turned 7 and Layni will be 9 on Halloween! Have I told you "how much we LOVE Halloween in our family"?

My daughter Ivy is amazing! I can't tell you how much work she put into this party and how much fun it was. She is the best mom in the world! She had alot of help from a couple of cute girls in the neighborhood, her hubby, me and mom Becky. Oh yeah..... and Aunt Becky!

The twins Jenny and Claire sporting their best Halloween attire!

All of these yummy candy apples were handmade!

What a festive table she sets!

This way to the carnival.
