This past weekend I traveled to Vegas to spend some time with my daughter Mackenzie, her hubby Joe and of course.........baby Wynter.
On Saturday we drove out to check on the Hoover Dam project. I had not been out here for years and didn't even realize this project was going on. Increasing congestion and restrictions (since 911) led to the development of the new Colorado River Bridge.
The 2000 feet of bridge began in January of 2005 and is expected to be completed late this year. When completed, this signature bridge will span the Black Canyon, connecting the Arizona and Nevada approach highway, nearly 900-feet above the Colorado River.

I also did not know that was going on. So fun you get to see your girls so often! Your Washington trip looks like it was fabulous. Have fun in S.F.! I love that city! Hope we'll get to see you soon.
