Seriously.........Another Scorpion bite! How in the heck can one girl be so lucky?
This is not your normal scorpion and this little devil is called a "wind scorpion" and man did this bite hurt.
The ole regular scorpion sting is pretty darn painful and burns for about an hour or so and yes, I have suffered this wonderful experience twice now.
BUT..............This is the worst yet.
This little bit of info from Wikipedia sums it up:
"The greatest threat they pose to humans, however, is their defensive bite when handled. There is essentially no chance of death directly caused by the bite, but, due to the strong muscles of their chelicerae, they can produce a large, ragged wound that is prone to infection."
