Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday Christians celebrate the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, the week before his crucifixion and resurrection.

For many Christian churches, Palm Sunday, often referred to as "Passion Sunday," marks the beginning of Holy Week, which concludes on Easter Sunday.

The Bible reveals that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds greeted him with waving palm branches, and by covering his path with palm branches. Immediately following this great time of celebration in the ministry of Jesus, he begins his journey to the cross.

No one is ever born into Life alone.
Everyone has shared the bond of family, at least at birth, and for many people it is a bond that will follow them throughout life. For many people it is the most important bond of all.

I have the most wonderful family and extended family in the whole world. I want them to know how much I love, admire and appreciate each and every one of them.

Scrambled Cupcakes...

Last weekend was full of fun and surprises. Mackenzie had made special cupcakes for after Joe's Triathlon. We carried them around all day. Finally after both Joe and Jeremy finished the race and rested a minute, we all gathered around for treats and she opened the box. Well......now we had to figured out what they said. I guessed it right away. "We Are Having A Baby". Cute huh?

Showdown at Sundown

This past weekend I traveled south to support my son in law Joe as he participated in his first Triathlon. It was held at Lake Las Vegas. What a gorgeous place, it's like an oasis in the desert. The race is a 700m swim, 11 mile bike ride and 5K run. Joe and his friend Jeremy have been training since January so............it was finally "RACE DAY". We gathered up all the family and made a weekend of it. We are so very proud of him and want him to know how much we admire his determination.

Finally a Burger

After 3 months of "no burgers" for Joe, we all went to the Luxor to eat at the Burger Bar. The food was delicious and the company even better. There is nothing that can compare to friends and family. Does Joe look happy or what?

Love One Another

This morning I am pondering on why their are some people in this world who are just down right "mean" at times to others that they work with. I am grateful I am in a work environment that is almost always " A Happy Place". We truly strive to work together for the "team" and really do care about and love each other.

You simply cannot know what is going on in someone's life to really know the whys of their behavior. As I have grown older with experience, I know this to be true. Something said for "getting older"!!!!! My advice to this person is to pray for them. To pray for those who have hurt you. I have found prayer to be a profound comfort and it can work miracles when implemented. My thoughts and prayers are with you this day.

St. Patrick's Day in Zion Canyon

Here in the canyon St. Patrick's Day is a big to do...This past weekend the festivities began with a parade along with a green jello sculpting contest. People come from all over to join in the silly fun. There was plenty of corn beef and cabbage being served at every restaurant in town. Please enjoy the photos and then maybe next year you will join us too.
