When I was just a wee one (yesterday)...there were so many older singers that I remember having such wonderful holiday songs. Now a days "everyone" has a Christmas Album!
One of my absolute favorites is Perry Como! Some of you are saying "who"? Mr. Como was one of the best of the best! I can still remember walking into my Grandma's Opal's house at the holiday and he would be singing on the radio. A few years ago several of his grandchildren came to our resort and I was just in awe of the name "Como" that belonged to them.
Pierino Ronald "Perry" Como born May 18, 1912 and died May 12, 2001) was an American singer and television personality. I remember as he got on in years and as I watched his last Christmas special he had to read the words from a prompter on the floor. It was SAD! Happy Holidays in heaven Mr.Como.....This girl still loves to hear you sing.

Oh!! You are so right. What a lovely smooth voice he had. Back in the day when you could actually understand all of the lyrics, etc!!! Glad you paid tribute to him. I CONCUR!!!!!!!!!!
