Textile Museum

The Textile Museum is a private museum located in the Kalorama neighborhood of D.C. not far from the Dupont Circle area. The museum was founded by collector George Hewitt Myers in 1925 and is housed in two historic buildings. I could have sworn the girl at the front desk told us there was some connection to Bristol - Myers but after getting home and researching it......I could not find a connection. When you check out the "grounds" photos you will see the homes from the back. The view overlooking the city was absolutely breath taking.
Check out the cool horizontal window !!

Color me strange.......I love to photograph the bathrooms of old victorian homes.
