Tis Spring Here In Zion Canyon
I love Spring and the deciding of what flowers I will plant outside my front door. This year I decided on Red Verbena and Karoo White Nemesia in the flower planter, and of course I LOVE all the succulents! When your summer temps. reach 110 degrees succulents do very well!

Happy 60th Wedding Anniversary

Old Fashioned Butterscotch Bars
Old-Fashioned Butterscotch Bars
1/2 c. butter melted and slightly cooled
2 c. self-rising flour
1-3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, beaten
1 tea. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped pecans
Garnish: powdered sugar
In a large bowl, combine melted butter, flour, brown sugar and eggs; mix well. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Spread in a 13"x9" baking pan sprayed with non-stick vegetable spray.Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center tests clean. Cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar and cut into bars. Makes about 2 dozen.......you have to have a glass of milk with these.......they are delicious!!!!!
